OK as you and Tom know I love conspiracy theories.
Here is my latest.

1.Someone shorted (via puts) a hell of a lot of CSCO the other day. Now if I were going to take this large of a position this is what I would do. The following morning (before the market opens) I would short the hell out of S&P Futures and also the QQQ's. This in effect would cause panic.
2.Dell>I think the downgrade on DELL was by design and this analayst(remember it was only 1 analyst that downgraded dell) did this for a reason. Was he part of the CSCO puts fiasco???? Did he want the Nasdaq to go down for a reason? Knowing that downgrading a stock like DELL would have a terrible effect on the Nasdaq especially while the market is so shakey.
3. Does anyone else find it odd that CNBC will take what one Analyst says about a stock (via a downgrade) and just pound on it all day?

Finally: what does all this mean? In my opinion this tells me that the market has hit bottom and the shorts/bears are doing everything in their power to get out of their short positions.

dawgy loves conspiracy's
