Maybe "vomit selling" was a bad choice of words. I still stand by my belief that the pain level has not reached its peak yet and I expect the Nas to dive into the low 3000's.

Oh and BTW - You are allowed to disagree with me as long as you know the rule.

Yeah and thats a lot more people than you get a sense for from reading SI, too.

It seems like almost everybody that worked in a b2c dot com really got wiped out in April. Not just that their company is failing but the sector that this group invests in (which is mostly software) was killed and hasn't recovered - except for the b2b mini-rally a few weeks ago. I know tons of people like that, who lost 80% of their portfolio. And then some folks in the strong companies like BEA which will recover eventually were not spared either, since BEA got such a huge haircut and most had some margin. My group as a whole is definitely a lot worse off than we were 6 months ago - by 50% or more.
