Ted, JC stated that he has been lurking on the mod thread since it started. Secondly as part of his business, he probably reads many threads in a day so he would have a better slant on the value of a certain thread. Thirdly, last night several people did criticize the thread and Mani for kicking PE of of the thread for two wks. Fourth, I agree with his criticism of the AMD Yahoo thread and its worth. The last thing we need here is a thread like that. Constructive criticism is one thing. Bashing all day long without rhyme or reason is worthless. Harry First I have nothing against JC...I don't know him and have not been to his site. Secondly, JC thought I had posted on the mod thread with a criticism when I have never posted there at all. He did apologize in advance in case he were wrong; hoever that does not sound to me like someone who has been following the threads closely. Thirdly his post was fairly long and articulate, and its main thrust was how bad the classic thread is vis-a-vis the mod thread. And finally, as I said to JC, the trashers of the mod thread last nite look to me to be mod regulars and not classic regulars so I think its unfair to say the same thing was done to the mod thread last nite. ps. A wk. ago I posted that one should wait to see what AMD DOES. Last night I reestablished some of my position at 61 3/8. Fortunately AMD has rallied so I am slightly ahead at this pt. Congrats...I hope we have hit bottom. ted
