you're right about t-birds below 700 but if I would be a bargain shopper I would go for those t-birds that amd is trying to liquidate or I would go for k6 computer - still very good and I would save more than $100. If $100 does not make that much of a difference then I would go for 700MHz t-bird.
Either way duron would not be my target.
