Ian, Then you are still bullish on the fundamentals? A lot of hot money went into the semi equip group, and I can tell from the threads that most investors have remained quite bullish throughout this nasty decline. In other words, there hasn't been any "throwing in the towel" to stop the decline but I think we are getting there. That makes me more positive. I am sure margin calls are playing a role in all of this too. Phil

MTSN has lost more than 50% of its value within a month.

Looking at the positive side, that means that you've already seen more than 50% of the largest possible point drop, thus, the worst is over :-)

BTW, today MTSN lost 22%. The only stock in the sector that lost more was KLIC. Most other semi equips lost something in the range of 5-11%. GSNX came close to MTSN's loss, though, and so did LRCX with a 17% loss.

I actually tried to buy LRCX at the close, but it kept running away from my limit orders. It was a fast market.
