Anyone who has been knows what "fear" is, and indeed would not survive if he/she did not feel it at all.>> jbe: Agree. Got it. But we can also transcend - "rise above" - our fears. And the only force which can effect this is that which comes from a sense of mission, purpose that a derivative of our core values. The bible says that the purest, deepest expression of love is when a friend gives up his/her life to save someone else. In order to love we need to know the true second by second eternal blessing and value which our life can reflect. In the instant of that someone risking giving up his/her life to save another, that individual was essentially saying "I believe in serving/helping/saving you?" Now why would one believe this? If you believe, the only rational/logical explanation comes from love. But to the fearful mind, Love is completely and totally irrational/illogical. Hence mankinds complete separation from the core energy and grace that resides within all of us. And we create the wars, the black holes, the pain, anger and hate to justify the way we continually distract ourselves from this truth. Extreme fear and loathing over NOT wanting to accept the fact that we have this incredible power, light and aubundance just sitting there, waiting for us to accept, trust and let go to embrace and realize.
