BK,

Interesting how MOT explains the 'situation.'

I will paraphrase:

"No, no, that is not what we are saying. We tell our suppliers to prepare for us to produce 100mm units. In reality, we will probably only deliver 80-85mm."

So MOT intentionally orders up to 25% more than they are supposed to from their suppliers. Wouldn't it make sense that MOT's suppliers turn to their suppliers (sub-suppliers?) and tell them to be prepared to produce ~115mm units (they've got to have some cushion to make sure they can fulfill MOT's requirements)???

What a cycle -- straight out of The Goal. It is no wonder why inventory issues ultimately derail any 'sustainable recovery.'

Is there an inventory problem now? Who knows, but there certainly will be at some point down the road.

Chip Equipment Stocks to Watch...

A reasonably good view point that strives for some balance.

I think that we have moved from "Blood in the Streets" to despair.

If other posters feel the same we are at the bottom.
