Blues Traveler Performs at Republican National Convention

Blues Traveler performed Tuesday in Philadelphia at a party thrown by House Majority Leader Dick Armey of Texas. The event was one of many being hosted by republican delegates while the Convention is in town. Blues Traveler frontman John Popper is an advocate of an individual's right to bear firearms, which is likely one reason the band chose to play at the event. Other artists that have performed at the Convention this week include the Neville Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Earth, Wind and Fire, Hank Williams Jr., and Jon Secada.
