<<You like that junk, huh? Could you explain what it means?>>

Junk?? It's not like you to use such intemperate language, Neo, and perhape you ought to ask the author of the "junk" to explain what he meant.

What I CAN do is explain how I understood it. Many people (I think his "most" is perhaps overdoing it a bit) live very timid lives, afraid to take any significant risks at all. As FS would put it, they are "fearful minds" -- but more fearful of life itself than of its inevitable end (death).

I'll tell you what it means to me:

It means most people live their lives afraid of what might happen if they were brave enough to quit jobs they dislike, abandon toxic relationships, speak their truth, follow their dreams, zig when everyone else is zagging. . . most people are afraid to say "No", afraid of being judged by others, afraid to talk to people they don't know, afraid of being alone, afraid of public speaking, of showing their warts, of putting their reputations on the line . . . afraid of confrontation . . . of their own power, and ultimately afraid of facing the truth of their personal fears and doing something about it.

Most people fear change and uncertainty when in fact they're the only things one can be certain of.

Give me one hour with anyone, and I'll find a laundry list of their "LIVING" related fears.
