Investartist, one of my favorite Warren Buffet quotes is the following: when you have money to invest you want your stocks to drop in value.

regards,

bt

I have never owned PSNRY(at least that I remember), so I can't comment there.

On VSAT, there was much to be negative about when it was 7. Management's goal of a rural telephony system in cahoots with Nortel was "kind of" promised and never delivered. Their much heralded foray into commercial sat networks was in shambles. The sales force sucked. On the other hand, the defense buisiness provided an excellent cushion. They had no problems making money. Financially, they were not a mess.

AMD is a good example for you to use. They have destroyed value for years and years. There was HEAPS to be negative about. Management has not been the most trustworthy either. There was plenty of negativity around it. That probably helped management become a bit more honest. So when the truth hit that "geeks love Athlons", and management had become a little more honest, and delivered as promised, the stock reacted positively.

The same could happen for G*, that much is true. The financial side for G* is a bit more like a Kong wall than a hurdle though.
