i'm getting that impression as well...it's painful to watch. i'm also worried that the collapse of the XAU is a sign that the bear market in gold is far from over. the XAU is at new lows, and therefore discounts new lows for gold as well....Prechters target sub 200 may well be seen. i looked at a long term (40-year) chart recently, and an argument for a drop to 180 could be made...

at that point much of the industry would disappear...
