Give me old man Bush any day over his eldest son.......what the father knows , his son will never learn in one or two terms. Just in..."Bush's speech -- 38 minutes without long interruptions for applause -- will close the four-day Republican National Convention. "...............can you imagine Bush being able to speak that long without having to say " read my lips"?

why do you criticize GWB for the SAME THING that you excuse in Gore?
Because I don't think it was the same thing. Gore Sr. never had the type of power and connections to promote his son(s) the way Bush Sr. did. Gore has had to prove himself on his own for many years now. Junior-George has nothing that was not handed to him, and often had to be handed back after he dropped it.
