Almost all of the above except for the bottleneck part as I am not sure about that. The two key application imo will be packet data and Internet uplink. The former involves a myriad of applications where monitoring of remote systems are important i.e. oil and gas flow, electricity, water, atm's. These things need to send bursts of data (packets)at random times. The uplink as I understand the IFN deal involves using the G* network as for requests i.e. a mouse click and then using a geo for the downlink of high bandwidth content. Iridium could not deliver data in excess of 2400k nor do I believe it was designed for packet data. Other data apps include the basic stuff like accessing the net via G* from your phone, palm pilot, laptop, etc. Text and e-mail at 9600 is okay but you wouldn't want to veiw graphics at that speed...unless you were really desparate. That taps my limited knowledge. I hope it helps.
