Do you see the possibility that a manufacturer would purchase laminate and technology (less equipment)and utilize their current "lines"? 2-3 years is a long time in this technology driven environment. What assurance would a licensee have that what they purchase today would not be obsolete in 2-3 years? What is your estimate of how long this will be cutting edge technology? If you are correct, then we should not expect licensing to affect the bottom line and therefore the stock price in the neart future.

In another vein, I am still having problems reconciling the numbers. A dedicated line to the G* phone going "in anger" 24 hrs/day to produce a product that has 13K world wide subscribers and by QCOM own numbers producing ~20K phones/month. Am I missing something here? Could we be producing the G* form factor for another QCOM product?

Regards,

Robert

Rich,
Thanks, The lead time for the specialized manufacturing equipment, is the pacing item for any licensee. The time frame for delivery of cells , once the production line is in place, will be dependent upon qualified manufacturing and process engineering!!!! It would be of interest to know, if Valence has had any preliminary discussions with the specialized equipment manufacturer, re: delivery schedule for a licensee!!!! It should a part of the management licensing process.
