Reginald Middleton: August 3, 2000: Sun has done quite well in their repositioning as a net company, but that should not blind you to MSFTs plans.

Sun didn't reposition itself, the market did.

Rginald: Don't you understand, SUNW has defined the game, MSFT can no longer do the proprietary thing anymore. That's been blown up by the courts. Now they are reduced to the greatest applications company. SUNW makes plenty of money off of MSFT's applications while co's use SUNW hardware.
