Strictly unintentional, as the best gaffes always are...

I've a few in my career ... one that almost went to print in tennis/swim club newsletter ... my headline:

"Please clothe swimming babes."

My god ... the owner would have DIED ... you know, images of wild adult women cavorting NAKED in the club pool ... <g>

I caught it at the very last minute.

(Was supposed to read: "Please clothe swimming babies.")

Another one of mine that actually DID make it into final printed hard copy (I'm lucky they didn't fire me as a vendor from that point on, forever) was a lead graph in a newsletter article:

"In an effort to maximize costs, the marketing communications department has reorganized."
