Lorrie, go get a good home cooked meal with butter beans and cornbread and quit thinking so "way out." Do you realize 90% of what you worry about never comes to pass. So, most of your worry is wasted. Also, remember many of those heavy thinkers aren't workers or producers. That is, unless they dedicate to the sciences, etc..

How about assessing non-tax payer's hours of public service?

The collective confiscates more than a third of my labor. Anyone who pays less that Median Federal Tax makes up the difference in labor. This way everyone would shoulder the burden of rising taxes.

Boy what an idea. Actually this stared out to be sarcastic but the more I think about it it really makes some sense.
