Shipped vs sold:
I've been listening to the AMD CC's every Q for the last 4 years, and this is my understanding of shipped/sold terminology (I may be wrong):

Chips shipped to OEM's are counted as sold and included in the revenue #.

Chips shipped to Distributors (for the grey channel etc.) are not counted as sold (and hence NOT in the revenue) till they are actually sold to an end user.

Just my understanding.
