Dan3,

>PS - year end is pretty late for this particular game, copper contamination problems at Intel?

The Master of FUD! That's turning the tables. Traditionally, the big company with most of the business uses FUD on the little guy.

Lewinsky-Dan - Re: "year end is pretty late for this particular game, copper contamination problems at Intel? "

Nope - it is Intel's first generation Copper process - combined with their upcoming 0,13 micron process.

That will put Intel in an equivalent - if not better - position than AMD.

And don't forget - Intel is in full tilt building new fabs for their 0.13 micron Copper process - in Arizona, New Mexico, and Ireland.

When these are on-line in one to two years, expect AMD to be at a big disadvantage with only ONE copper fab - Dregsden - unless they get real busy real soon and start building another fab.
