HCI/AND Biometrics Have Been Invited To Washington D.C. To Present To The U.S., Department Of State, The Facial Recognition, HNet Technology For Their Passport Control System.
BURLINGTON, ONTARIO--HCI (TSE: HCI) and AND Corporation announces that their joint venture currently named AND Biometrics, the leader in HNet technology has been invited to present facial recognition technology to the U.S., department of state for immigration and naturalization services (INS) and passport control systems. Facial recognition using HNet technology is the undisputed leader and therefore very well positioned to be adopted within the departments INS, passport control systems.
The technology required for the INS, passport control system will include an electronically digitized visual identification system. A central data-based biometric reference system for use in both logical and physical access control mechanisms to enhance security in numerous applications.
The current enabling technology used by federal agencies is the first generation of Biometric technology and will very quickly become obsolete. HNet (Holographic/Quantum Neural Technology) is the first to market using the new, more sophisticated and highly advanced and reliable HNet technology. "Our product in facial recognition using HNet technology has widened the gap significantly between ourselves and the current technology", says Jerry Janik, CEO of HCI/AND Biometrics. "Our current and future products using HNet will be available as O.E.M. modules and in due course, as off the shelf turn-key finished solutions available through our partner network. We are delighted to be invited to present this leading core biometric technology, that will not only meet, but exceed the requirements of the department for INS passport control system", Janik adds.
The state departments contracts are designed to establish contracted vehicles for use by all access points into the United States. The smart access program, to be used by INS, passport systems, will be acquired from one or more vendor teams, and will be capable of, at minimum, providing both physical and logical access control at all entry points both on and off the continental U.S.A.
HNet (Holographic/Quantum Neural Technology) will be made available to various sub-contract groups.as the next generation of facial recognition. The gap between and facial recognition using HNet technology and other products available is significant and wide, and will be for some time. The invitation both acknowledged and recognized technological gaps between the current technologies and HNet, therefore the Government was enthusiastic to bring this forward at this time in recognition of the enormous advances made in the Biometric field recently.
"Several institutions have been working for twenty-years (20 years) or more on this kind of advancement without the success and breakthroughs we have achieved", quoted John Sutherland, the inventor and developer of HNet Technology. "We expect that HNet will become the specified technology for facial recognition and in due course speech recognition as it comes on stream", says Jerry Janik.
We recognize that the current enabling technology has been deployed with various agencies in the federal government, however they are beginning to recognize that HNet is so advanced, that they need to make it available now on a go forward basis to ensure that in the most critical and sensitive agencies and applications that they have access to the absolute leading edge technology available. Several agencies within the federal government are currently either testing or being made aware of HNet capabilities they include departments of defense, justice and the national security agency. In addition, various governments around the world specifically England, Israel, Canada among others are currently in trials or under review.
