Dear Silicon Investor Members,

The voting is now officially closed for the first ever Silicon Investor Choice Awards. I'd like to personally thank each of you who voted, but I couldn't possibly write that many individual PMs, so I hope you'll accept this "semi-personal" mass PM instead. After all, it did arrive in *your* personal InBox, right? :)

We will present the awards at the Silicon Investor 5th Birthday Party in San Francisco on Saturday evening (Aug. 5th). The party is from 7 pm to 11 pm (Pacific), and the official awards ceremony should start around 8:45 pm. We have a full-house for the party, and we're looking forward to a fun evening.

We have started an official "SI Choice Awards and Party 2000" thread. Go there now to see a list of the top vote-getters in each category. We will set up a PC at the party, and Scott Lux will be announcing the winners in real-time on this thread.

The SI Choice Awards and Party 2000 thread can be found at the following URL:

Subject 36511

Thanks again to everyone who voted, and good luck to all of the top nominees. We encourage you all to follow the thread and join the party - even if it's from your desk.

Sincerely,

Bryan A. Burdick
Managing Director, Silicon Investor
Sr. Vice President, Go2Net, Inc.

Ken, CIMA, SSP and all the threadsters, thank you so much for the votes of confidence, I wish I could come down to sunny SF but I have been hard at work here getting my new place ready to bring my daughters horse home,( land clearing, fence/barn building etc etc ) Ken,I never thought a horse needed so much stuff LOL! Hence also the lack of posting the last few weeks, for which I appologise.
Once again, thanks guys n gals this a team effort though dont forget! And thanks also to the people who have taken the time to and teach me T/A in so we could start this thread!
Regards to all.
