Thanks for your view Greg. I agree with about the utilities sector, and power needs. I'm currently in the process of researching some of the "new energy" plays, and looking for companies of interest in that sector. Also, looking at nanotechnology companies for long term positions.

As far as the overall market, I've got to admit it's been for very agile traders only. I've been able to do pretty well with the up and down swings, but my entries and exits have been swift with an eye toward locking in gains as they occur. My gut instinct tells me we are in a market that is in the process of revaluing itself (lower), and the bull/bear tug of war is the result. I continue to be in the mindset of viewing upward movement as bear market rallies, and this idea of a "soft landing" that the analysts are hyping is extremely difficult at best. I'll just stay in the wait and see mode, eye on capital preservation at all times. I won't be committing any money on intermediate term plays until we retest the 3300 area.

Good trading to you today,
Donna
