It was a great acceptance speech, only Reagan ever did better. Some people are idiots---- cliched? It is just the Democrats whistling past the graveyard. I think the Bush folks are prepared to a fare- the- well: this was the best convention I have ever seen. It was splendidly planned and executed, and betokens a formidable campaign apparatus........

It's probably the only acceptance speech on record where the audience interrupted him so much that the teleprompter had to slow down to the third grade reading level, one level higher than Bush's usual reading level. How can you call it a great speech when he showed so little emotion, looked frazzled, had no body movement and his eyes looked like slits.........come on now, aren't we being a little too biased? You just knew he would wear the red white and blue colors to fit in with the patriotic mode.
