Finalist in two categories: Started By: Silicon Investor Date: Aug 3, 2000 8:43 PM Dear Silicon Investor Members: This thread is dedicated to the Silicon Investor 2000 Choice Awards and Silicon Investor's 5th Birthday Party. The party is scheduled for this Saturday (August 5) from 7 pm to 11 pm (Pacific). We will set up a PC at the party and Scott Lux will be posting regular messages "live" from the party to keep all you folks at home up to date on what's happening. Members who attend the party may also chime in from the "Party PC". And, of course, we encourage all of you to follow along and join in the fun. The official SI Choice Awards ceremony should start about 8:45 pm, and we will post the winners on this thread as they are announced. There were both surprises and obvious choices for many of the awards, although the balloting was very close in almost every case. The following is a list of the awards, along with the top 5 nominees in each category (one of which will be the winner, of course) so stay tuned.
