The stuff has pre-set min prices, the amount of which is unknown to "bidders". So if the min price is $146, then 145 ain't good enough, no matter how many people "bid" 145. It's not really an auction at all, it's a guessing game to try to find out where the min price is. For example I have read that on pcln the min price that will be accepted for airline tickets is 70% of the lowest available fare. Victor
