If sun, ibm, microsoft, etc. are doing so well thier is room for Unisys.

As you correctly pointed out this company has roots. Those roots are valuable. Investors are willing to pay huge for customers in cyberspace I think they will pay for them in this sector as well.

UIS - simply oversold way beyond their bad news.
Second half expected to be better. You can invest now for the longer term with little downside risk or get in later if and when they regain momentum. I bought much higher, had a bad paper loss and decided to double down at 9-10. Turned out to be a good decision so far. Up to 11 1/4 today with good volumn and support. Up every one of the last four sessions unlike many of the dogs at the bottom which are popping up and down. Longer term I like all of these beaten-down gems but it takes patience and a strong stomach sometimes. UIS may never reach its potential but remains a fairly strong global company and a takeover target. At a PE of 7 it's not much of a risk IMHO. I'm going to try to get at least 15 on it and might even hold long term.
