(DoCoMo in Japan has 8 million i-mode subscribers out of 21 million cell phone subscribers).

Any idea how much they are charging per month per subscriber? Do you sense they are any competition to INSP's markets?

Btw, I agree with you view about pedestrian populations. But that is one negative about the US market. We drive pretty much whereever we go. Either that or we're stuck in subways where they haven't yet wired them for Cell connections.

Regards,

Ron

<< I've been in Asia for the past five years and have witnessed the growth and proliferation of cell phones (wireless). From the Asian perspective, i don't think that there are any doubts that wireless internet use will be the future. If that many people use the service now then there is no doubt that it will be very popular in the future. The technology and content are just getting started. It's like the early car phones that had to be carried around in briefcases. Anyone that thought the cell phone would never be popular because they were too bulky was wrong. They couldn't look a few years into the future and see the changes that technology and pricing would have on the market. The same evolution applies to the wireless web. There are applications you can't even imagine. It will huge in 4 - 5 years.

How many people had internet connection on their PC 5 years ago and how many people have it now?
