Gustave, "When a government resorts to tyranny it is just and right that citizens overthrow that government" -Thomas Jefferson When the government of the United States violates the Fourth Amendment rights of its citizens to be protected against unreasonable searches and seizures, it is time to fight back. The government admitted that it was wrong in its entrap- ment of Randy Weaver. The government paid him and each of his surviving family members one million dollars each. Personally, I don't think that it was nearly enough... when you consider that Weaver's unarmed wife had her face blown off by an FBI sniper. All she did was open the kitchen door holding her baby in her arms. Weaver's son was shot in the back. The FBI fired first. They admit this...all over a couple of sawed off shotguns that never even existed. I will not even get into what happened to Koresh. All I know is that my own ancestors were persecuted by the US Government because of their religeous practices. My ancestors were ethnically cleansed from Illinois...some were executed. I considered forming my own militia here in Santa Barbara. Tyranny is all around us...here in "The People's Republic of Kalifornia" where Obergruppenfurer Gray Davis is engineering a PC nation of disarmed peasants, I think it is important to remind the Governor that he works for the people, not the other way around. Hopefully, as VP candidate Dick Cheney said "We will prevail" and we will return to the Republic that the founders envisioned, rather than the creepy, socialist union/Democratic party controlled police state that he and his bretheren envision. -John
