Donald,

In support of your warnings, both AMG and TrimTabs reported outflows last week. As you probably know, the two are not necessarily in sync. AMG reported something like $1.6 billion outflow while Maria B just reported $5 Billion outflow per TrimTabs.

In either case, these are huge numbers that I do not remember seeing since the $7.2 billion outflow reported on May 24 earlier this year, when the Naz went below 3200. However, that marked a temporary bottom.

(1) Stocks follow "log normal probability distributions"
(2) Shorter on the left and longer on the right.
(3) There are stat methods that can determine if the probability of a "happening" is random or not.
(4) A very simple probability study would be to divide the input(results) data into 4 parts. To be valid each of the 4 parts should have nearly same results.
Just thinking lot loud.
