The Millenium Crash is right on schedule. The necessary requirements are almost fulfilled. One such requirement is for the markets to look, feel, and move as if the threat of a crash is gone. When the BK gets "called off", then it's close. I don't know where you are in the staircase of optimism, but I suspect that many are declaring a crash out of the question, and many more will join next week if we continue upwards or chop around.

August is not the best of times to call off the MC. It has bad reputation (remember Bush Sr.)
Indeed the market shows no fear (P/C, VIX, strong USD) and the ST downtrend from 7/17 led by the Naz looks to be exhausted, but the medium term trend is still down.
