I have confirmed with the Company that there have been meetings in which Globalstar people participated but the project is at such an early stage that Globalstar's role has not been been formally defined. If you listened to the Qualcomm/Ford press conference the comments and answers to questions were "very general" (i.e. nothing specific) so I think the Company's statement to me is reasonable. Like you, I don't see how one could contemplate offering a service for cars without--at some point--having ubiquitous coverage with satellites filling in the cellular gaps. By the way, a guy we know just had a car kit installed and he raved about the call quality and said he was going to use it for business calls to prevent the 3 or more disconnects he averages per day while on his cell hone in the car.
