Gary,
there is every reason to believe that your scenario will play out.

I am playing this one very conservatively. Carpino has lows coming next week, but I think that there will be some stocks that go up. I need to reset so that I can get back in the groove.

I agree that there is nothing that says that we have to go to the BSL, but without a bounce off of the BSL and without real capitulation selling, I have to believe that we still have the risk of a big selloff looming in the background.

to support this line of thinking it would really be helpful to have higher put/call ratio's I will wait for increasing Put/call to signal bearish sentiment and the fear factor instead of the capitulation arguement. Your thoughts?
