I agree with you on that. From the perspective of math, I concentrate on slopes and limits

currently, im looking for something for a MA stop out line.

similiar to a parabolic SAR. the problem with p. sar is that the initial reversal signal, the stop out dots have huge downside risk.

i like 9 or 13 day ema, but always looking for something better.

5 day ema for more volatile issues.
