I guess that would be a matter of definition. To me cyclical means that it deviates from expected at semi-regular intervals. Microsoft alone forced some patterns on pc demand as demand increases with major intro of new products.

Well, anyway, to something funny:
I was listening on bloomberg to two analysts making their recommendations. One said his picks are texas instruments and amd and intel, and another said he does not like amd but he never liked it so nothing changed. But the funny thing was when he (second) gave his reasoning for liking intel - warning grab something so would not fall off your chairs:
I expected that he would say something about new products, asps, demand or something of that nature but he liked intel's investment portfolio.
