I find it odd that CNBC has not mentioned crude oil futures up over a buck this afternoon, pushing $30/bbl again. Well...nahh, I don't find it odd. Stuff like that just bursts the "feel-good Friday" mood...why bother viewers with the facts?

Just for kicks, I hooked up a digital voice recognition device (via the Korean distributor of LHSP) rigged with a hard-wired odometer to the TV next to my trading desk over the weekend. First thing Monday morning, I trained it on "Hahvad boy" and set the digital filter (which trips the odometer) for the word "Ah". I'm happy to report by the end of S-Box today, he managed to squeeze out 481 major "AH's", and 717 minor "ah's". Not too shabby. I'll be ready to jump out the window by Thursday. BV
