RE:"So Jim, you're saying to sit tight? I do that pretty well anyway. My prob is knowing when to sell"

Sit tight on what? AMD, Intel, MSFT? OK...

Market tops are inherently harder to pick than bottoms.
It follows that knowing when to sell is harder than knowing when to buy.
I've decided to combat this by buying stocks I never have to sell...

Jim...

PS...If Greenspan would hike agressively and get the bleeding over with...we could find a bottom...BUT NO! he wants to be an incrementalist and seek a "soft landing"...so this bear market could be longer than it should be...
