Some is going for lunch programs but a lot is going for all kinds of peripheral things to keep schools dependent on federal funding. Besides that, why should the national taxpayers pay for school lunches. Even the poor could make their kids a lunch if they weren't so damned lazy, and purposely dependent on government hand-outs. My mother was a divorced, working woman, making minimum wage,(which was not mandatory in those days)but she saw that I never went without an adequate lunch. There are several generations now, that won't even try to hit a snake with a stick, when they can mooch off the federal government. ~H~
