Darell: I was not posing hypothetical position. I finished buying at 40 1/2. I am not buying anymore unless Dell goes down to 37 again, unless I sell some at 45.
The market mood is same. That is why the stock is not going up. Buyers finished buying.
A lot of you have the cost basis below $10. A lot of us newbies have the cost basis around 40-45. Newer people are notwilling to pay $50-$60 unless Dell shows the profits. As simple as that.
There used to be stories of IBM PCs waiting to be picked up by distributors at Dallas-Fort Wirth airport in the 80's. People used to chase them in thin air, when IBM PC is the hottest item. A lot of people got burned in this market basing their investments and business plans on what could be.
