John, eb-mag.com No one is sanguine enough to believe the boom-bust cycles are gone forever, but Dickson and others say the communications revolution could moderate the cycles because of the diverse devices it covers. “There appears to be sustained end-user demand from consumers for the ability to communicate at any level,” he says. “It is still an untapped market.” This is worth the emphasis of its own separate post. Let's see, how many people are there in the world and how many have the ability to communicate with anyone outside their own personal space? We've got an awfully long way to go here. IMO, the "forecasts" are too low. Barry
