Shares of network equipment maker 3Com continued to trade briskly in after hours trading.

The stock remained unchanged, but 782,700 shares exchanged hands after the markets closed. During regular trading hours, 3Com rose $1 to $17.94 on a volume of 27.9 million shares, more than three times the stock's average daily volume of 8.3 million shares.

The company's shares enjoyed a pop in recent days after management told analysts that the company's stock could be worth as much as $54 a share.

Citrix Systems inched back from the dead in post market activity. The shares edged up 19 cents to $15.13 on a volume of 1.16 million shares. Citrix rose 19 cents during the day to $14.94.

Investors pummeled the stock in June after the company issued an earnings warning, which drove the stock down to a 52-week low of $14.25 compared to a high of $122.31 over the same period.
