Willie's real outlaw period His dad ran a pool hall bar in town at the time. I hung out there all the time and he would come in and drink beer and laugh. He wouldn't really laugh with me though, we'd be over at the pool tables and he'd be in a little alcove, visible but not interacting with us. There would be a whole group of long hair country western wanna-be's in there at the same time and I think he just thought it was weird. Wouldn't dare ask for an autograph or something, just hung out and tried to look cool. TP
