Bob,

Finally I have a question for you that requires only numbers
based on facts, and it gets even better, no political or hedge
or names or anything actually representing todays changing
landscape in the gold market is referenced.

Not a trick or hypothetical question either.

We can even invoke Ron Reeces parallel universe
as the place this takes place.

Question: If both Russia and China decided to place
into their Central Banks an amount of physical gold
into each the same weight as the USA's Fort Knox
contains based on the last audit, then is there enough
above ground physical gold to do this?

The above mention to above ground gold would not
include jewerly or precious coins, but only physical
gold that exist in coins and bullion bars as a storage
of gold to represent its price per ounce.

The reference to Fort Knox's gold is a reference
to the usa citizens gold, not gold held for others,
and it does include all the gold belong to the usa
citizens even if some of it is stored elsewhere.

Guess thats the first number to know.

If by chance not enough physical gold is available
above ground to fill Russia's and China's Central Banks
to the level of the usa citizen's gold weight, then the next
question would be to determine at present days physical
gold production you mention various gold companies as
actually removing from the dirt, how long with it take if
the same rate for jewerly and individual buying remained
constant, for the Central Banks to obtain the remainder?

thanks
doug

I read it as not only tried, but pulled it off.
