When will these guys learn that bad, even very bad literature does not harm little minds if they are also allowed to read the wealth of wonderful literature this country and the world has produced.

Of course very bad literature can harm little minds, just as very good literature, served up to early, won't improve them.

I wouldn't outlaw Mien Kampf but I also wouldn't allow a child to read it until;

1. He's been taught some critical thinking skills.
2. He's been taught some world history.
3. Most importantly he's been taught some morals and been given time to internalize them.

Come to think of it, 1-3 is a pretty good definition of an adult.
