peter, your post was not a source of irritation. The response to your post was.

What you need to do is not listen to these people that tell you to buy or sell....period (and you said you didn't). You need to do some soul searching and be certain that you are willing to ride the stock down (if it goes on down). By that I mean don't kid yourself. Don't sell at the bottom. I don't know what the bottom is and neither does anyone else. NO ONE! Neither does anyone know that the stock is going to 100 or 120 or even double by January like the poster said.

AMD makes a good processor for a change and they seem to have it headed their direction for a change and I for one am glad. I like their processors and now run EVERY computer on AMD processors. I think they have a good future but that will not make me buy nor sell it because I am not a long term investor. "If" you are a long term investor and believe in the company and its management then turn the computer off and go on a vacation. If you are on margin then do whatever it takes to get where you are not on margin. If it bothers you then sell it. Those are the decisions you have to make.

And I sincerely wish you the best.

Monty
