The problem I see is FN's growth abilities,when diluted by the standard assets and operations of Gold Fields,will cease to exist. Therefore,this becomes a standard asset investment ONLY,albeit possibly a superior one.

FN was a cash cow on it's on and had for years even with low POG increased profits annually. This is impossible now without a sustained increase in POG. Exploration is dead,this is why FN said they were forced into this new situation.

As I said earlier,to me it didn't matter if FN was in the AU business or computers. They increased profits year over year. Now,the new company almost certainly can't do that and will only prosper as AU rises. Just my opinion.
