IMO, the stock market likes the gridlock associated with one party holding the presidential office and the other party controlling congress. The thought among the big money investors is that doing nothing is more often than not better than doing something when it comes to implementing government programs.

1. I always vote.

2. I'd rather have someone not vote than cast a vote based on untrue ideas.
