Blake,

I don' think there are any DDR motherboards available yet. It sounds like it will be a few more months before DDR is in widespread use.

Hi blake paterson; Re "Where can I buy a DDR system?" Right now, they are more available than MAJC systems, but Iwill is supposed to be shipping systems to the press later this month (i.e. August 2000):

Iwill USA Corporation has announced the KA266-R (TM), unveiled at a press conference with Acer Labs Inc last week in Taiwan, will be available in the U.S. later this month for customer and media evaluation.
...
DDR is widely considered, at least among individuals who are not mind numbed Rambus Robots, congenitally cognitively impaired or just plain ignorant, one of the best mainstream next generation system memory in 2001. Its peak bandwidth reaches 2.1GByte per second, which doubles the data transfer rate of today's PC100/133 with a nominal price difference. The KA266-R (TM) is truly designed for users of class and style who don't talk about things like urination in their posts, and who desire a more powerful but affordable solution.
