Greetings thread:

Been lurking all summer just as I did last year. I must say, watching this group progress with the help of Rande has been quite impressive. Kudos to everyone!

In thinking about the content of this thread last summer I can't help but be reminded about thy beloved SAMS. Stocks like BDE XYBR and others. We didn't necessarily pick the absolute bottoms but averaged in on them when the volume was sick... waiting for that big day the following spring to sell our shares into for big profits.

FIBRCOR seems to be the consensus SAM this summer and probably justifiably so. I'd like to offer a few others that I'm looking at picking up while they sit near their respective bottoms. (No positions yet)

------
PVII: an old sam known to the thread from last year... has digital insertion technology and contracts with NFL broadcasters. You've probably seen their digital 'first and 10' line during the games. I noticed this PR from thursday: biz.yahoo.com and will watch for new versions of their product tonight during the Viking's game.

Anything under $5 on this one represents a good position trade IMO. It currently trades for about the same value as it did this very time last year (just before the football season revenues), and yet fundamentals continue to improve. Stock has very little volume right now and is not in play.

CLW: mentioned by Capt Morgan recently and mentioned by me in the past. I've followed this one for a couple of years. Struggled at first and bottomed out at about 50 cents on the OTCBB about a year and a half ago. Has since positioned itself well for mega growth IMO and has obtained a listing on the AMEX.

"ClearWorks.net, Inc. is a provider Fiber-to-the-Home for the delivery of
Bundled Digital Services, including high speed Internet connectivity, dial tone,
digital multi-channel video, on-demand video rental and other digital services.
For the three months ended 3/31/00, revenues totaled $5.4 million, up from
$430 thousand. Net loss totaled $693 thousand vs. an income of $181
thousand. Results reflect acquisitions, offset by increased costs due to new
revenues and personnel expenses."

A year ago most people were telling me that Clearworks was likely ahead of its time. However, this is now the type of company investors could get excited about owning. Can you imagine the implications of having a fiber hookup directly to your home? Company deploys fiber networks in new upscale residential neighborhoods in the south west US. Also does condominiums and has division for commercial installation.

Annouced acquisition of a Wireless Broadband ISP on Thursday which has it over extended in the very short term. Good risk/reward at these levels, if buying on pullback. I think given favorable market conditions next winter/spring... the momentum players could take CLW into the forties (?) based on sector and exponential revenue growth. (I don't see profitability for at least a year... given its acquisition strategy).

ENBC: no mention of it here or on the RatDog thread that I've seen. This play is real logical: Company has leading edge on research and products that cut sulfur emission from spent fuel. Regulation handed down from the feds requires the vast reduction of sulfur emission resulting from the burning of petroleum. ENBC is positioned to benefit IMO. Nice daily chart. siliconinvestor.com.

I'm also looking at WAVO but haven't formed a solid opinion yet... other than to say that the downside looks minimal according to the chart. Accumulation seems apparent, but what about a delisting from Naz? Is that priced in? (doubtful)

And finally, for an ultra-low-risk position trade, I would have to think that at the very least, SNE will show off a little ARSE prior to the PS2 launch in the US on Sept 26th. One might even think that it would continue to appreciate into the new year as all of them x-mas sales are tallied. Of course this event spawns the notion of buying up some gaming stocks too...
