Bobby in Seattle: Say it ain't so. Hang in there with me boobeleh. It's new but we can learn it. Absolutely. We're just going thru the learning stage. And on the regular Gems site we can still post to each other as we've been doing....not all gemmers are traders who day-trade extensively and need the trading room. I urge you to remain with us...even if you do choose to move in with Stan. You can be with Stan and the gemmers. If you don't I'll call my friend and former bookmaker Barney Bufflekarp and he'll call his friend Tiny who stands six-foot eight, sit three-foot four and tips in at 320...who'll have a word with you. C'mon Bobby...you gotta hang with the Mariners, I've gotta hang with the Red Sox and we've all gotta hang with Jenna and the Gemmers. (Lee)

bobby exactly what do mean by your post? I taken to mean that since market gems now will post their trades on the live chat room you lose whatever edge u had over others subscribers? Or is it now not worth having an subscription to Market Gems because of the live chat room, so you really need to subscript to both? Really like your input on this

Bobby,I really do not understand why you won't come to the trading room. Why don't you at least try it out next week?Evidently it's free until the 18th.

Bobby,

Many do not have more than one monitor and will have to drop another room or something to participate in the new trading room. However, the real time calls and interaction should put us in a very favorable environment for making the most of our time and space.
Often I will play a Gemmers call, but will miss Jenna's exit call. This can be dangerous to your wallet. Situations such as this will be a memory with a RT trading room.
I have been a participant on Stan's thread since it's inception. It's fantastic and I plan to continue to participate, however this new trading room should take us to a new level.
OJ's enthusiasm yesterday was catching and I am really pumped <G>
He will be giving options calls as well.
Jenna had enough foresight to give us till the 18th to make a final decision. Why don't you hold off making your decision until then?
Hopefully there will be more calls on stocks that are not already priced in triple digits, that's the only thing I would change. There are not that many people who can play those triple digit stocks for more than 100 shares, and that limits enthusiasm.
I am going to work on my sister-in-law's puter this weekend to resize the windows and try to keep her favorite's while adding the trading room.
As for the cost, I made one trade Friday in the room and it paid for the coming month, how can you beat that?
Again, if you choose to simply go to Stan's thread, I'll see you there, but hope you reconsider after trial week.

Fred

walking and chewing gum at the same time, what a task!...

(bought the new Ping ISI driver and I am here to say it will add yards to your drives, no bs, without swinging harder)

Hey people, i've learned a bunch from one of the sharper traders, a very eloquent communicator, and a one who has proven to be very savvy with her business acumen. Look what she's done, takes something she loves doing by sharing her intstincts with others, packages her thoughts to make a buck or two along the way and certainly we don't mind paying for her insight. And for survival, she knows a business must continue to grow, so she allies MG with Pristine. Now further growth with a trading room. And tomorrow? PMG will remain on the cutting edge.

The trading room will prove to be an effective tool for new and old traders, maybe better for the novice. It may serve for profit, sense of belongingness, maybe for educational purposes...its efficiencies, without question, maximizing communication (when momentum returns to the market, dare what i say about the lemming approach!)...

But it's not for me. I've learned a great deal from PMG, following watchlists, understanding momentum, reversals, triggers, etc...

for months, I've been following the watchlists as a backup, focusing primarily on fundamentally strong stocks in varying sectors of my own choosing. And many of those selections have come directly from stocks we're familiar with.

i'll still post here and there on non-coded selections, lurk, but the intergrity of PMG surrounds watchlist picks and earnings plays, and i think it should remain as such.

The board may take on a different complexion as two of the key celebrities will have their hands full as moderators. Synergy permitting, maybe it will remain the same. We'll see in time.

Meanwhile, party on dude and dudettes!
