Got his email today...Thought I'd share it with you all. - The Brickyard 400 race took approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes (165
minutes). Of those 165 minutes, over 63 minutes (one hour) was commercial
interruptions.

- So considerate of ABC to use those final 30 minutes left in the broadcast
to show more commercials and Robin Roberts sports updates instead of those
annoying post-race interviews. We NASCAR fans would much rather see updates
on soccer and baseball than Dale Earnhardt or Darrell Waltrip being
interviewed.

- “Thank You Race Fans”. While it was nice of ABC to show us a montage of
their coverage of NASCAR events over the last couple of decades, it was more
like an episode of “Thrills and Spills” as they showed more crashes than
highlights.
